Defining and validating high level design metrics

The development of the solution design and architecture begins with a design process, the results of which become the functional specification.

The design process helps identify the project team structure and the team's responsibilities for the upcoming Developing Phase.

The deliverables may undergo numerous iterations before the project team, the customers, and the stakeholders reach a final consensus.
